Launch of neo dalits movement

The first article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights affirms that "all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights". The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination reminds us of our collective responsibility for promoting and protecting this ideal.

To commemorate this day, Savitri Bai Phule Womens' Forum (SWF) and Peoples' Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) are together launching neo dalit movement in India http://www.pvchr.net/2011/07/call-for-neo-dalit-movement-to.html and if you are unable to come, please light a candle on that day and discuss the issue.
Celebration of day will be followed by a discussion on neo dalits movement in gender perspective on 22 March, 2012 at 11 am at Paradkar Smriti Bhawan, Maidagin Varanasi, India.
