On the auspicious occasion birth anniversary of great writer Munshi Prem Chandra I am delighted to inform you that Mr. Ajay Rai, veteran journalist of daily Hindi newspaper "Amar Ujala", Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, editor of www.visforth.com, Mr. Parvez Ahamed, veteran journalist of daily newspaper "Hindustan - Lucknow", Mr. Gaurav Sehgal, dynamic and young journalist of daily newspaper "Hindustan Times - Lucknow", Mr. Pradeep Garg, a independent journalist from Uttarakhand and Mr. Ashish Awasthi a human right activist are awarded with the Sushil Tripathi media fellowship for two year in the project "Promoting a psycho –legal framework to reduce TOV in India" jointly hold by Peoples' Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) and Danish organization Rehabilitation and Research Centre for Torture Victims (RCT) www.rct.dk.
During this duration the fellows has to write/ published the individual self suffering/story for the prevention of torture and organized violence and highlighting the anti –torture bill in the main stream of media with special focus on model block and torture free village process in the context of institutional reform. As the project main focus on strong and well organized testimonial campaign contribute to eliminate impunity for perpetrator of torture in India by creating 50 torture free villages through model block process in two states of India Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
